It is not recommended to run an automatic update through an RDP-connection. Especially if the RDP connection is a Windows 2003 Terminal Session we strongly advise not to run an automatic update.
If under any circumstances the automatic update has failed or the OnlineBackupClient does not work anymore please resolve this issue in the following way:
1. Download the latest version of OnlineBackupClient setup (3.8.0.1)
2. Install the setup in the current location of your OnlineBackupClient software
3. Run OnlineBackupClient
If this does not resolve the issue:
4. Uninstall OnlineBackupClient completely
5. Remove all files remaining in the install directory of OnlineBackupClient
6. Install the setup in the current location of your OnlineBackupClient software
